Iran and Russia have deepened their nuclear cooperation through agreements on small modular reactors and the Iran–Hormoz project. A $25-billion deal for four reactors was signed under a strategic partnership treaty. Rosatom’s director-general is expected to visit Iran soon to oversee project progress.
